Hi there!
We are a friendly family of three, located in Port Moody, seeking a reliable and enthusiastic individual to assist us one day per week with meal prep and light housekeeping.
Responsibilities:
- Meal Preparation: Prepare baby meals, family meals (including freezer-friendly items such as burritos, casseroles, and marinaded meats), and ingredient prep (e.g., chopping vegetables, washing berries). We will provide recipes but are open to your suggestions and favorite dishes.
- Shopping: We will ensure groceries are available for the chosen recipes. But, occasionally we may need you to run to the nearby Safeway (5 minutes away) if any ingredients are missing.
Housekeeping: Fold and put away laundry and ensure the kitchen is left clean after use.
Qualifications:
- Passionate and knowledgeable about cooking, with experience in meal preparation and familiarity with handling a variety of foods.
- Ability to follow recipes and suggestions for new meal ideas.
- Comfortable with light shopping duties.
- Reliable and organized with a positive attitude.
- Must be comfortable around pets, as we have a small dog.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.

Shift is flexible, with a preference for
1. 3 hours 2x week
2. 4 hours 1* week + 2 hours one day a week
3. Not ideal, but It could be evolved to 6 hours one day
weekdays only
Over time this may increase for the right candidate if they can provide school drop off or pick up and homework supervision.

Young family (2 kids, aged 3 and 5) looking for support with household activities (cleaning and cooking). We both work 50+ hour weeks and need help running the daily activities of the house! We have a large dog (chocolate lab) who is very friendly. 3-4 hours a day, 3-4 days per week (consistent 10-12 hours).
Main support needed is:
Laundry - Washing / folding, weekly changing sheets, putting away kids clothing
Dishes - Loading/unloading the dishwasher (handwash where necessary)
Meal help - Meal prep, packing kids lunches, cooking dinner with recipe
General tidying up - putting away clutter/kids toys, making beds
Other - Taking out the trash, watering plants, fridge /drawer clean out, feeding pets / getting them fresh water / letting out
