Hello! I am an empathetic and caring individual. In my free time, I enjoy researching and learning about childhood development and how to talk to and engage children in ways that cater to their individual needs and interests. I spent 3 years as a part-time nanny and 1 year full-time for the same family, caring for 2 children from infancy to the ages 2 and 4. Most recently, I worked as a full-time nanny for a toddler, aged 2. During this time I did typical things like changing, feeding and bathing, in addition to organizing fun activities for the toddlers. I maintained routines related to feeding, sleep and bathing and assisted in housekeeping duties such as laundry, dishes, and house cleaning. I love children. I think they are fun and exciting, and developing strong adult/child connections, being a care-giver, friend and positive role-model fosters confidence and and security for children in their present and their future.
