Truly caring, compassionate, responsible and fun, I am looking to help a senior live independently and happily, by offering support with domestic work, meal preparation, shopping and errands, outings and companionship.
Although I am new to senior care, I have about 3 years experience supporting adults with autism, including home support assisting with domestic duties, meal prep, outings and companionship.
I am also creative and musical, being an artist and musician. I love bringing art and music to others. I also love pets, have spent several years as a cat sitter and have experience administering medication to cats. I offer some garden care as well, and support seniors in their garden.
I have worked as a meditation instructor and do yoga and exercise. I am happy (not professionally trained) to facilitate seniors-appropriate yoga/stretching and exercise.
I have a special desire to support seniors to live an independent, rich and fulfilling life. I used to accompany my father, a dentist with the same care for seniors, to care homes as his assistant, and I play music in seniors’ care homes.
I look forward to finding the right match and bringing support, happiness and friendship to a senior in South East Calgary.
