| I am bilingual French/English. I have always worked with kids from new born to around 10-12 years old I am also a mom. I was a nanny and babysitter of 5 kids for 2 years and nanny for 3 years with an other family of 2. I have a cleaning company so it’s easy for me to helps with households. I am a military wife! | My name is Katie and I am a 38 yr old fun, reliable and hardworking professional, originally from Pictou, NS. A bit about me; I studied human services back in 2001 which lead me to work with children for about 6 years in many different roles. I worked as a coordinator at our local youth center and was very involved with the youth in my community. I worked in recreation programs where I facilitated day camps and extracurricular activities for school aged children. My life then took me to Alberta where I spent seven years, the first two years of which I worked for a wonderful family in Calgary. I cared for their two children aged 12 months and 4 years at the time. I then spent several years establishing a professional career in the corporate world working in both the telecommunications and insurance industries. I am very passionate about travel so my next adventure led me to bartending and Mixology. I graduated from fine Art School in Calgary in 2009 and then went on to work as a professional bartender in Mexico for 4 years. I moved home in 2014 to open a food truck business here in beautiful Hubbard's, N. S which I currently operate seasonally on Saturday mornings. I have many passions and working with children is one of them.
