| Besides my beyond lovely garden that I keep strong every year I previously spent one summer helping in a greenhouse. Further, as a student focused in family studies I have extensive knowledge on keeping a household organized from financial to storage. At this time I would love if I could have an opportunity to have my son come with me if work is during the day as he is homeschooled otherwise evening and weekends would work without him. This is my first summer not doing uni and I am trying to find a way to keep myself busy.

| Though I don’t have any professional experience, gardening has been a big part of my upbringing, passed down from my father, and his mother before him. For about a decade I lived as a bit of a nomad, traveling and working across Canada as a singer and dancer, but as I got older I transitioned away from the performance world and instead, into yoga. I reconnected with my roots, moving back home to Winnipeg, and settled in for the past 2 and a half year. With some encouragement from my partner, we transformed our home, and I fell in LOVE with plants and gardening. I currently mama over 30 plants inside my home, and a beautiful garden in front and back, a large percentage collected through shared/gifted plants and propagation. This summer I was hired by my family to care for their garden as they renovated the interior of their home and realized I would love to do more of this. I really just love working with the soil, putting physical energy into something beautiful, and caring for plant life.
